Gift her an artful women's cotton kaftan.
William Morris (British, 1834–1896) is celebrated the world over for his lush floral and foliate motifs. As the leading figure of the Arts and Crafts movement in Britain, he oversaw the creation of decorative designs in abundance, including over 50 wallpapers. Our 100% cotton kaftan reimagines his sunny yellow Larkspur (ca. 1872) in blue. This block-printed wallpaper was designed by Morris for his firm Morris & Company and printed by London's Jeffrey & Co. before it was acquired by The Met in 1923.
