Each December day leading up to Christmas corresponds with a different window that opens to reveal Santa tailoring garments, answering the phones, taking a well-deserved nap, and more.
The illustrations featured on our Advent calendar are details from vintage greeting cards by the American Artists Group Archive. The central image is by Barney Tobey (American, 1906–1989), a famed illustrator and cartoonist whose work has been exhibited at The Met.
