Featured in this set are the likenesses of four major modern and contemporary artists: Salvador Dalí (Spanish, 1904–1989), Frida Kahlo (Mexican, 1907–1954), Yayoi Kusama (Japanese, b. 1929), and Jean-Michel Basquiat (American, 1960–1988). Each ornament is designed in Brooklyn and carefully crafted with the help of Colombian artisans in Bogotá where, for each tree harvested to create these Urapán wood figurines, two are planted.
