Designed about 1909 by Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848–1933), this striking object is embellished with white gladioli. Popular among Art Nouveau artisans, this motif offered a nearly infinite range of colorways. The designer never sold this vase; rather, he kept it in his own collection.
